Just got back from my hometown. I was sending my grandma and my auntie back to hometown and since my company decided to move the Wednesday's holiday to Monday (so we can have straight 4-days holiday), I managed to get some rest there. The environment is still the same as before, with not much of development going on. After spending days over days in KL's concrete jungle, it is a serenity to be able to lay my eyes on real wood jungle. I'm pretty much of a flora and fauna person. At one time even almost joined Greenpeace LOL. I am very happy that Malaysia still maintain its tropical forest despite all the development projects going on and I pray to God that this will prevail in the future. Can't imagine if someday the jungles behind my grandma's house are replaced with concrete structure. I may have to migrate to Borneo, or Amazon. Hmmm...
On the other hand, I would like to ask someone who have knowledge regarding this matter. Is the KL-Karak Expressway still under construction or is it already finished? I'm asking because everytime I use that highway there are still construction works going on to the roads, hillside or something. Seriously in my opinion, this highway doesn't manage to get the toll increase being announced last year. With the lack of comfortability provided to the motorist, they dare to increase the toll rate and at the same time can't provide a 3-lane highway. Okay 2 lanes are sufficient, but with the bulldozers, tractors and whatnot taking another lane we are left with only 1 usable lane. This sure creates headache should the vehicle in front of us is a slow long hauler, cement mixer, anything. I bet the person who decides whether the tolls are worth to be increased never used KL-Karak Expressway in the past 2 years time. Not pointing any fingers though, just my thought hehe..
To whom it may concern, I here need a little bit of attention. I understand with the amount of workload you have been going through it's hard to spend some quality time with me. But I do really appreciate it if somehow you manage to reply my SMS message promptly, or you can just tell me that you're busy. I can understand if you're busy, it's the lack of information given that tortures me from time to time. Since we are in the process of escalating our level up one notch, I here would like to advise you on continuous basis on the importance of maintaining trust between us. Oh damn, this paragraph sounds too formal isn't it?
Lastly, I managed to get my car window tinted. Done it at my cousin's friend's shop and because of that, I get friend's and family's only price hehe. Suffice to say, I'm satisfied with the job done and frankly, I was a bit afraid my car would be slapped with a summon (or two). But the shop owner assured me that his tint film will pass DMV's inspection. Ah well, even if it's not what can I do? I'm just a simple, humble, tiny programmer in the big city of KL.
Later folks, gotta catch some sleep. Tired of 2 and a half hour of driving.
