That Season of the Year, Again..

Well folks, it's June now. I'm sure many of you are familiar with what season am I talking about. Yes correct, mating season. Many of those couples who are eager/reaching suitable age/accidentally have to marry now, and seems like their brains act in unison. They choose June to do their wedding. For some, this may be time for them to save up their budget because they get to have free lunch (and some even dinner) almost every weekend. And to those lucky fellas who happen to befriended with rich people, ceremonies are usually held at hotels (3/4 stars at least) which concludes to good food.

First of all, congratulations to those who are/just/coming soon getting married. Thanks to those who invite me to their wedding ceremony. God-willing, if nothing comes in the way, I'll be there. It's good to see the happy faces of bride and bridegroom on the dais. For the bride, maybe because of the thinking that after this, everything is on the husband. Clothing, food, shelter, you name it. Your salary, is your own salary. Your husband's salary, is also your salary. How nice isn't it, time to go shopping-spree. Oh yes, don't ever any of you say to me you've never think like this at least once. Face the world, we are greedy even to our other halves. And to the bridegroom, well, what else to say. The prospects of the man's eel entering a woman's cave (quoted from Memoirs of a Geisha) is too heavenly enough for him to smile all day long. No more arm-wrestling, hugging the pillow at night. The 'pillow' after this sure is warm though even in cold, blistering night LOL. You, covering your face in embarrassment, face it. Sex is real, deal with it. Enjoy it while you still can, less till the time you have to take Viagra to get your member up. Again, congrats to you all and may the night be steamy. Titanic, anyone?

Regarding the invitation received, I thank to all. Some of them, I'll definitely go to their wedding. Some, to the extend I'll go on the both sides' ceremony. These people are the ones I define as buddies, real close friends. Owh heck, I'll even help with the preparation also. No formal invitation is needed from them, enough with just phone call or IM conversation. Still, they usually send me invitation card although I've implanted their wedding date and location directly to my brain.

Then there are those normal friends. Invitation type varies; some will come meet me and invite me directly, some will send invitation card and SMS/e-mail, some will just be invitation card (rarely happens, because they need my address before sending), some just through SMS/e-mail and there are also those who invite publicly using bulletin board/group website such as Friendster. Chances of me going varies too. Those who go to the extend of seeing me in person to invite me, I'd be very happy to attend their wedding. Those who send invitation card, it depends on distance and my availability. If both are okay, there is big chance of me going. SMS/e-mail people, less likely of me going. There is still hope, but if the above two conditions are met and with one additional: I have the mood. Last type, public invitation. Very unlikely of seeing me at the ceremony. Well, you don't specifically invite me though. So I can assume the invitation is directed to somebody else and not me. Unless of course, my name is inside the invitation LOL. In that case, this type of invitation will be on the same level as the SMS/e-mail type.

However, there is another type of invitation which I don't think deserve to be put inside any of this. It is the 'tomorrow-I'm-gonna-get-married-and-now-only-I-invite-you' type. Sorry to say, this type of invitation is the one I won't even consider to attend. I mean, WTF man. You're getting married tomorrow, and now only you invite me? If you are not that eager for me to attend, then I also am not that eager to go. Karma dude, karma. Do onto others as what you expect them to do onto you. Maybe you follow Van Helsing's Igor philosophy: Do onto others before they get the chance to do onto you. Who knows..

No offense to anyone. But if you want me to attend your wedding, at least invite me properly. Personally meet me or a phone call is enough, provided that you send me a card too (if I don't know the place). Don't ever think I'm too free to search your location on Google maps.

Talking about all these wedding things makes me bored. I'm gonna figure out another excuse to the question usually asked to me in any wedding ceremony: When is your turn? I might tell them I'm migrating to Australia and get married there, hurm.. Sounds like a good answer.

English is now my 3rd language, no more 1st language like before. 1st is VB, followed by SQL. 3rd is English, and 4th is Bahasa Malaysia (tukar plak dah Bahasa Malaysia, dulu Bahasa Melayu. nyusahkan btols..). This explains why I rely on MS Word to do my grammar checking and www.dictionary.com for vocab.

I Am A Millionaire

I am now USD9 million richer. How so? Here goes..

Apparently, a very generous (LOL) Liberian whose cousin is an ex Deputy Minister of National Security is currently the benefactor of foreign secured fund totalling about USD32 million. The sad, sad thing is, this huge amount of money cannot be cashed in because there's a clause stating that only a foreign citizen can collect the money as to avoid the Liberia government from taking the money forcefully. And guess what? I'm the lucky jock LOL.

This fella promises to give 30% of that USD32 million should I agree to help him in cashing out the money. Tell you what, I'm gonna pretend helping him and once I got the USD32 million, I'll just keep quiet and stay somewhere remote like in deep forest of Sarawak. Or, I can bargain and instead getting a 30-70 deal, how about a 70-30 deal (or 99-1 deal, LOL).

Well, to my beloved buddies. Once I get this wealthiness, you guys are not forgotten. Say, a BMW 3-series for each of you would be sufficient? Or any of you wants a fully-sponsored vacation/honeymoon to Paris (directed to Azhar-Rina)? Or I can give some to Pejai to setup a full-blown paintball field. Or to Adi, so he can upgrade his summer camp. Or Farid, so he can buy his dream car. Do contact me once I'm super rich okay guys.

And to my beloved other half, once married you no longer required to work. You can be a full-time housewife in a bungalow for the rest of your life :D

No one especially in Malaysia would ask for/give bribe anymore (not directed to anybody) should you are that generous. Get a fucking life. Go learn VB and come work with my company so you can be my subordinate.

Backseat Cook

A wife was making fried eggs for her husband for breakfast. Suddenly her husband burst into the kitchen.

"Careful... Careful!!! Put in some more butter! Oh my God! You're cooking too many at once. Too many! Turn them! Turn them now! We need more butter. Oh my God! Where are we going to get more butter? They're going to stick! Careful... Careful!!! I said be careful! You never listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the salt. Use the salt! The salt!"

The wife stared at him and asked, "What the hell is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied, "I wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving with you in the car."

V For Vendetta

Just watched this movie yesterday. I have been urged by Adi to watch it for a long time actually. But then with me being busy the past two/three weeks, I only managed to get my relaxing weekend now. While lazying in front of the PC browsing for my movies folder, I found that I've already have this movie inside my PC. So what the heck, I thought it'll be no harm to watch it as it was really recommended by Adi.

Next thing I know, I didn't realize the clock has ticked from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Damn this is a good movie, if not the best. The plot and storyline really caught my mind, and I was trying hard to understand it. To learn how sometimes justice cannot just be presented at the court, but rather by violence. Not that I promote violence, but watching this movie made me think a lot. What if all these while we are living a scripted life, where everything are predetermined beforehand by somebody so that we are exploited without us realizing it. And how V carefully planned what would happen, that just so caught me. To a mere person, it might not show any interesting scene. But for me, I like how everything went as planned for V. For I don't believe with an ultimate plan like that, there must be glitches here and there. It takes an exceptional time and mind to plan events with such magnitude. I don't know, I can't describe it anymore. Just watch the movie and if you're like me, you're going to like it. This is one movie that is worth buying the original version in my opinion.

Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder, treason, and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

On other hand, my software demo went well. Really pays off seeing the happy faces of the clients, after the hard work we've been through. Working on weekends, staying back until 3am at the office, the satisfaction is there. So now, I need to recover the lost of rest for this past 2 weeks before I go full-swing again. The RSI-Enhanced programmer will strike codes again starting of next week.
