I am Megatron!! Haha yes, I watched Transformers already. Watched it today at IMAX. A bit disappointed though, because the movie is in 2D format. I was hoping it is in 3D format, because I'm willing to spend the money to pay for the ticket. Well, what can I say. It is true like most of the personal reviews that I've read. Transformers is an action-packed movie. It really made me glued to my chair with the occasional jaw-dropping (and almost saliva-dripping) with its awesome CGI effect. Seeing the robots transformed flawlessly from robot-form to vehicle-form, it was breathtaking. This is one movie that I really feel the actions and humors go well. I laughed my ass off seeing even the Autobots knew how to make silly jokes. One of the disappointments about this movie is there was too little action with Megatron. Honestly I was hoping he (he? or it?) would kicked Autobots' asses and there would be counter-action from both sides. And I also hoped that there was a full-scale war between Autobots and Decepticons, with Earth became their battlefield. For me, these two minor setbacks did not hamper the storyline and the continuity of the movie. I'm not that good in giving review on movies or anything, but for those who felt Transformers was their childhood heroes should go and watch this movie. It really brings back memory in my opinion.
Now, the cinema review. To those who has not watch any movie at IMAX, one advice. Don't. Really waste your money watching ANY movie there. I paid RM30 for 2 tickets, RM15 each, with the expectation the seating and screen were nice. Boy I was wrong. The seats were too straight, not even a slightest angle variation that enabled me to lie back a little. I don't know which 'genius' designed the cinema to be like this. Seriously, creature-comfort is an absolute zero. The screen, it was like 3-storeys height. The seating arrangement is also very steep. It is not like in Midvalley's GSC, where the arrangement is just nice. I don't know, I feel something is not right with the IMAX. So as for now, I don't think I'm going to IMAX in the future except there is a really good 3D movie that I can't miss. Other than that, Midvalley or One Utama if I want to catch a movie.

obviously ko lum tgk 3d series kat imax lg, the seats and screen are meant for short (ie 20 mins) 3d documentaries yg akan membuatkan ko mengapai2kan tangan cuba pegang pasir bulan or kulit dinosour
for long movies, better tgk kat gsc in the same building, byr pakai kad, not only ko dh konfem seat ko, seat dia plg last skali org rebut after 1utama n midvalley (ie back rows, mid section)
btw, transformers is confirmed for another 2 sequel (go wiki)

azhar: mmg aku pun rasa IMAX tu tak sesuai utk tgk movie yg duration lebih setengah jam. setengah jam je utk sustain interest org dgn 3D tu. lebih dari tu, org akan start rasa sakit badan. good movie, but lousy cinema. once in a while, takpela blanje lebih sket camtu. pasni bercadang nak try gold class GSC plak.

spek = map yg menunjukkan location the cube a.k.a allsparks. then US govt jumpa cube & megatron yg kena frozen kat artic, so diorg bawak balik US secretly. all these while diorg tatau ape guna natang tu & sape megatron, which is why diorg panggil megatron NBE-1. then bila secretary of defense (SoD) dah tau pasal mende2 ni, dia amik dak pompuan english (sape tah nama dia) jadik advisor. masa dlm C&C room, ada sorg mamat otai Section-7 reveal sumer citer ni kat SoD ni. dari situ la, SoD ni dibawak ke empangan tempat megatron & cube bersama sam (sam time ni ditangkap oleh Section-7). bila sam dgr citer dari otai Section-7 tu, dia tau la NBE-1 tu megatron. diikuti dgn aksi lawan robot2 yg sgt mengujakan..

addition: actually spek tu dah jadi irrelevant pun sbb even though autobots/decepticon dpt spek tu, cube tu dah dibawak ke US. so no point ada spek tu pun, just that sbb diorg tatau mende tu dah di displace.
Greater spoiler:
- Megatron mati dek kerana cube, dibunuh oleh budak lelaki tu. Kemudian dibuang di tengah laut. Ada kebarangkalian akan resurrected semula.
- Starscream sempat cabut lari dari bumi. Ada kemungkinan akan panggil geng Deceptikon yang lain utk siri2 yang akan datang.
- Autobots still stay kat bumi walaupun misi cari cube dah habis dan hantar mesej kepada memana Autobot yg masih dok merayau mencari cube kat angkasa.
- Seperti biasa, hero yang walaupun nerd, dapat ngongkek awek hot.
- Megatron ialah saudara lelaki Optimus Prime (abang ke adik aaa?).

1. masa c megatron jatuh kat artic tu cube tu ada bersama dia ke? mengikut ingatan aku yg jelas & tajam ni cube tu jatuh kt tempat lain. US?
2. ngaper c megatron bole crash jatuh kat artic? ape beliau mengalami kerosakan enjin ke masa nak mendarat? bila dah resurection tu OK plak xde rosak2 plak.
3. cemana derang tau robot jahat tu hack derangnye sistem & cane budak gemuk tu bole setelkan code yg robot 2 nk cari witwiki tu. siap kuar nama witwiki & s-7 lg.
4. kat angkasa ada internet ke?

1. cube jatuh kat artic. megatron detect, dia gi artic. masa gi artic, dia beku & takleh gerak. cube & megatron dibawak ke US oleh org2 US.
2. megatron tu dibekukan jek. sort of cryogenic technology. mcm bumblebee tu pun, masa S7 nak tangkap dia kan diorg sembur CO2/N2 cair.
3. camne robot tu hack, di luar pengetahuan. agaknya robot2 tu gi CCNA nyer course. kuar nama witwiki sbb dia search dlm network USCENTCOM.
4. yerp, angkasa ada internet. tp setakat atmosfera bumi je la, luar dari tu tak sure la plak. sile refer kpd e-mail yg diantar oleh bill clinton kpd angkasawan (google).
serius ke citer ni? biasa2 jek rasanya, senang nak paham. nak yg susah paham, tgk la butterfly effect ataupun v for vendetta hehe..
