Officially

This entry is actually long overdue. I would like to inform you guys that I was engaged on the 15th of March 2008 to none other, Izma. Take this as official announcement as some of you have already knew it. It was supposedly being a simple ceremony, well what would you expect for an engagement ceremony isn't it. But no... my family decided that they want to come in a large group. Long story short, 10 CARS from MY family tag along. Thankfully everything went well. Actually we were engaged long before in December, this ceremony was just an officiation as people say. 7 offerings from my side, 9 from Izma. Well it was kinda new experience for me though. All these while I was on the other side of the picture, taking photos and being the person who sneaks here and there to get the best shot. Who knows now it's my turn. But then I didn't have the nervous-wrecked at all, sitting idly outside the house playing with my nephew while the older were inside discussing the engagement thingy. I guess that's just me, very seldom become panic and always think rationally in anything.

With regards to picture, have to say that I'm lazy to upload them. Some of them were already uploaded by Izma in her Friendster account, so you can just go there and see. Looked beautiful in the choc-cream kebaya, while me with my selekeh look. It was actually due to the hot weather. I'm sure you guys know how I hate hot weather to the max. My face was sweaty and all, and when that happens I will feel very uncomfortable. Lucky by the time I entered the house, everyone else were outside taking food. Good chance should not be left passed by, I managed to secure a position right in front of a standing fan haha. After that it was "supposed" to be photography session, but then everyone were busy eating. But then still managed to get a few pictures of the dulang-dulang.

I would like to thank my buddy, Farid, for semi-volunteering to become photographer on the day. Thanks a lot and I'm willing to become the photographer for your engagement ceremony provided it is done within central Peninsular Malaysia region. And by the way, your photography skill sucks. Need to improve in angle, exposure and white balance. It's okay, Farid won't get angry. Kan Farid kan, hehe *sambil buat muka tak bersalah*. But anyway, really thank you for spending time to accompany me.

That's all I guess. I put here my favorite picture of the day. Link down there, please click.

No, there was nothing funny happening on that day.
